Honoring Many Paths, Walking One Heart
I hold deep respect for the One Divine Source and for the spiritual teachers, prophets, and enlightened beings across all traditions. Figures such as the Buddha, Krishna, Yogananda, Muhammad, and the many Goddesses and Bodhisattvas have offered wisdom, healing, and guidance to humanity. I honor their teachings and recognize the support I have received from many spiritual sources along my path.
Yet the presence I feel most intimately connected with is Jesus.
Jesus feels continually present in my life. I speak with Him often, listen for guidance, and experience His support in quiet, consistent ways. Since my Reiki attunements, this connection has become even more profound. Jesus is woven into all of my Reiki work—not as doctrine, but as living presence and love.
A Conflict That Became a Teacher
Several years ago, I looked forward to a conversation with an acquaintance who had recently completed a Master of Divinity degree. I hoped we could share meaningful experiences about Jesus and learn from one another. Instead, the conversation turned into something unexpected.
Rather than discussing joy, compassion, or spiritual connection, I was questioned about whether I believed in Jesus in the “correct” way. A few days later, I received a letter suggesting that my true spiritual work would only begin once I followed that “right” path.
I was hurt. I felt dismissed and misunderstood. For a long time, I replayed the exchange in my mind—defending myself, judging the other person, and quietly reinforcing my own sense of being right. I’m not proud of how harsh my internal dialogue became, but it was honest.
Over time, the discomfort of my own judgment grew louder than the original pain. Eventually, I realized I needed to step out of the argument altogether. I turned inward, invoked Reiki, and asked Jesus for clarity—not to prove a point, but to heal.

A Simple, Transformative Truth
The answer didn’t come quickly. In fact, it took nearly two years before something shifted. One day, while repeating the same defensive thoughts in my head, I clearly heard these words:
“The judgment you receive is equal to the judgment you have.”
The truth of it landed immediately.
I had long known the teaching: Judge not, lest you be judged. What I hadn’t fully accepted was that it applied to me just as much as to anyone else. The judgment I experienced externally mirrored the judgment I was carrying internally.
With that realization came freedom—not just from resentment toward another person, but from the heavy habit of judgment itself.
The Message from Reiki: Healing Criticism
My Reiki Guides have consistently shared a clear message:Criticism—of ourselves and of others—is one of the most harmful energies affecting humanity today.
They describe criticism as having reached a kind of energetic saturation point. When left unhealed, it becomes a dense emotional and mental atmosphere that limits our ability to rise into clarity, compassion, and connection.
On an energetic level, critical thoughts gather into collective fields—layers of mental and emotional density that hover around us. When we engage in judgment, we add energy to these fields. Over time, they grow strong enough to influence perception, behavior, and collective reality.
Once caught in these energetic “bands,” it can feel difficult to escape. We may find ourselves reinforcing negative beliefs, replaying arguments, or feeling justified in our criticism—all while feeding the very patterns we wish would disappear.
How Criticism Shapes the World We Live In
We see this pattern everywhere. Media cycles thrive on outrage and fear. Conversations about politics, conflict, health, and the environment often carry more judgment than intention for healing or action. Even self-talk frequently revolves around what we are not—better, thinner, smarter, more successful.
The paradox is this:What we criticize, we energize.
When we focus our attention on what is wrong, we help bring more of it into form. Our thoughts shape our creations, and our creations reflect the beliefs that formed them. Criticism doesn’t protect us from harm—it often reproduces it.
Reiki as a Path of Remembering
Reiki offers another way.
Reiki reminds us that we are not broken beings in need of fixing, but radiant, creative spirits temporarily having a human experience. It teaches us to remember ourselves as both spiritual and natural beings—inseparable from the Earth and from Source.
When we view ourselves and others through this lens, our actions change. Our creations change. Life itself begins to reflect harmony rather than conflict.
Reiki invites us to remember that we were born magnificent. When we learn to see our own light, we naturally begin to see it in others. From that perception, we create a world infused with beauty, compassion, and joy.
Shifting from Judgment to Love
Our Reiki Guides encourage us to help create new energetic fields—ones rooted in love, trust, and belief in humanity’s goodness. This begins individually, through our thoughts, words, and actions.
As more people choose compassion over criticism, these positive fields grow stronger. They become accessible to others, supporting collective healing and transformation.
Love-based perception is not passive. It is a discipline—a daily choice to return to truth rather than fear.
Remembering Your Radiance
Forgetting our spiritual nature is easy. Remembering it requires intention.
Choosing to see yourself as a being of light takes practice, especially in a world that constantly challenges that belief. Reiki supports this remembering by strengthening awareness, grounding us in the present moment, and gently dissolving habits of self-judgment.
Healing criticism is not about perfection. It’s about noticing, choosing again, and returning to alignment—over and over.
Reiki as a Practical Tool for Growth
Reiki supports personal growth by helping us pause before we spiral into old patterns. It gives us space to choose differently.
Through daily self-Reiki, intention-setting, journaling, gratitude practices, and connection with nature, we can begin to build new habits rooted in appreciation rather than critique.
When we focus on what we wish to create—rather than what we wish to fix—Reiki amplifies that intention.
Living as Light in a Human World
The more time we spend reconnecting with our inner light, the easier it becomes to live from it. Even in moments of challenge, that light remains present.
Healing criticism has been one of the most transformative practices of my life. It continues to teach me humility, patience, and compassion. Some days I forget. Some days I resist the work. But each day offers a new beginning.
Reiki gives me the tools to return—to myself, to love, and to a vision of humanity rooted in beauty and truth.
